So looking further down the line here and everyone or most seem to talk about the later engine for making big power

I've got the evo 4 engine. What's the weak link in the engine I hear the pistons are forged? Is it the rods that are weak? Crank walk? Is this because of the rods?

And how safe is it to push this engine stock as it is . My engine has only seen 100ks my max output at anytime would be 380bhp . I would be happy with that and call it a day . Would my stock evo turbo run that far or would it run out of puff ?
And what injectors could I use to make this number is 560cc ample enough ?

 

Most people bend a rod when the motor goes. When it goes it could window the block.
You should be fine to push it to 380bhp.
Not sure what size turbo it is but you could always buy an evo 9 turbo and it should get you to your number.
You will need bigger injectors. Can you find E85. If so something like 1100CC or 1200 injectors
