ACD EVO 8 FRONT WAVETRAC LSD AND Quaife ATB Helical LSD Center Diff

Hi there,

Is anyone runing both Wavetrac LSD FRONT (transfercase) AND QDH11B Quaife ATB Helical LSD Center Diff (Transmission) in a ACD EVO 8.
Is there any advance of running Quaife ATB Helical LSD Center Diff if you already have Wavetrac LSD FRONT?

Thanks in advance

as a general rule, if you want the car to turn in as well as possible, you want to keep the ACD central diff (if you allready have one)

Yes I already have OEM centre diff and the car has ACD. So are you saying Quaife ATB Helical LSD Center Diff wont work?

There's no point. The ACD is a computer-controlled, hydraulic clutch setup - it's already the best possible option for the center differential. Changing to a "dumb" or reactive Quaife planetary center diff does not improve it. The QDH11B is for non-ACD cars and is an upgrade for the viscous setup on those.

i never really thought about it... so for non acd transfer cases...... is the stock center diff a limited slip style diff?

It's a viscous coupling.
