Crankwalk Caused by Clutch?
I haven't actually seen what has happened yet as the workshop hasn't had time to take it apart be it as it may the car has been there for hmm, 30 days now.. I heard through the grapevine of mechanics that work near them that they were either looking at it in two days or else its booked in on the 23rd.. soo idk..
Update
Mechanic Got the engine out. engine builder is having a look at the crank perhaps this afternoon, clutch appears to be worn out he has sent it down to npc to have the clutch pressure tested..

Well today was a rather horrific day and ill spare most of the details but wanted to keep this as a good word of warning,
Engine builder / workshop had a full meltdown today after I wanted to negotiate the price as I am more than inclined to say the workmanship on the car was less than professional for the job that was required of them, They didn't ever take the crank out of the motor didn't ever linish the crank never checked the clutch even though his complaint all the time was how heavy the clutch felt, cars bill then was flipped on me, also was very abusive to my brother in law who my family consistently said to go there to have a level headed character work something out. it went totally south the guy yelling at my brother in law for being an inadequate person to communicate with for this issue, the guy is a total con artist and knew he could squirm his way through the cost of the motor, anyway demanded that i would come collect the car and **** off to my brother in law, I contacted them and said i would be organising a tow truck to pick up my car at 4:30. i even recall them to confirm the time that my tow truck driver said he would arrive, yep no problems.. Tow truck guy arrives and is halted saying that I need to pay $1400 to get the car back, i said Yep ok lets get that done, he said nope you're not paying it over the phone because it will take a day to clear, anyway i pay the tow truck driver $100 for his time and got a receipt from him he also described this guy as a lunatic.
I'm now awaiting an invoice and a date to collect my car i've spoken to my solicitor who said that priority number 1 is to retrieve my car and engine, which yes of course the engine is at the engine builder the clutch is elsewhere and the car has so much **** hanging off it (according to him) that they will need to fix it all up, anyway..
I'm not going to alert on the odd chance if they ever searched this forum which i doubt they would they are yokel hill billies in the sticks and struggle to respond to a text message but this will all be sorted after getting my car back,
a painful expensive experience, Mainly caused by the shotty workmanship, They didn't even take the engine out of my car and i was advised that it wouldn't be required, even though i was putting in forged pistons, they literally just put the **** together and called it a day, and when the crank which most likely was warped to begin with went again, blamed the clutch? like jesus christ..
anyway hope to post maybe even a personal build diary of sorting this out myself personally at my friends workshop where they actually give a ****,

An unfortunate experience, before i started my build I was all over this forum for about a year reading about these types of situations and what to look out for. Then i did a lot of leg work myself in pulling the motor.i had a comprehensive list of activities and parts that I put together at the builders office, I was then visiting the engine building getting to know them with beers and hanging out at the workshop at different stages of my build as I took parts over, I watched my head coming off and pistons coming out and some of the assembling, I am still good friends with my builder.
