TRE hands down and they have gotten better about awnsering the phone, aaron at tre has a tre Instagram and seems little easier to get ahold of, i just had my stuff done in the last 6 months and drove up there personally, there phone rings off the hook and if they answered everycall nothing would get done, there work is beyond amazing they tore down my transmission in 5 minutes in front of me and showed me every little detail or issues
Wow, that looks phenomenal. Makes me want to also send out my T-Case and Diff :O
I'll reach out to him on Insta. I already paid for Sheps shipment though.. Waiting on the box to arrive.
I sent my perfectly working 6 speed to shep for several upgrades and stronger gearset... I told them I wanted all of the original parts back. They built the trans and kept all of my original parts. When I called them out about it, they told me they "threw them away"...

This was done about 7 years ago. I have only put 1600 miles on the car since then. I have had no problems (yet) but it has not seen a lot of use. This car is a garage queen that just gets worked on.
TRE is the only one that soda blasts the cases and makes them look new. They're also the only ones who've developed an improved 4th gear lubricator for the 5 speed. They also don't really have anything to hide, they're very upfront about everything they do and don't shy away from showing you what's going on.
Lack of communication can certainly be annoying but STM is no different and people still flock to them for parts.

I had to find someone from TRE on instagram in order to finally get into contact with one of them.
I already paid to ship my trans out through Sheps, if i can atleast get a partial refund, i’ll take me buisness to TRE.
Thanks for sharing. This is the only way I was able to get ahold of anyone there.
Sheps was quick with the refund and was fairly easy to communicate via email. but going with TRE now.
You won't be disappointed, they put alot of detail in the transmissions at tre, with gear detailing etc ive been there a few times at there shop in Michigan they go above and beyond

Just for posterity, I had Shep build my ACD Tcase with the stronger ring and pinon set and requested the stock ring and pinon back which they returned.
