Transmission needing rebuild.. Thinking JacksTrans?
Un needed unless your making 700 plus whp. I forget what power level your at and I am to lazy to go back and look lol. I still run stock stuff even with the power level I will be at.
Only other thing I forgot to add is if you were looking to do a 2.4. the 4.11 would bring your rpms back into stockish range. I know with my 2.4 at 70mph I was at like 3500 rpms or around there. I know the higher hp guys use them but with my new 2.2 I really don't see the need for it even with close to or at 1000whp. Best advice would be to talk to John and see what he says.

You don't need to make 500ft-lbs at the wheels to justify or appreciate a 4.11 gear because there is no magic torque value that makes running a 4.11 vs 4.53 the tipping point for that decision. If you race the car and have certain rpm or gearing constraints then obviously choose your gearing accordingly. Otherwise, for a daily driver the perception of the change is subjective.
