ACT Clutch lifespan
I know there are a lot of fellow ACT HDSS owners out there and I was just wondering what your average lifespan has been with one? I just had my first installed.
Of course, how you choose to drive, DD or track, and your car setup play a big part in this but just wanted to get an idea on what all the daily drivers have been seeing? I won’t be tracking my evo.
Thx

Once you don't abuse it it will last a long time. E.g I've had one in for basically 7 years with daily driving, circuit (HPDE) etc. and it's just now getting to end of life. Probably 50k+ on it

Mines lasted 80k miles so far with many part changes and HP/TQ outputs. It currently sits over 500awhp and 400ftlbs. Bottom end just wouldn’t give up.
Haven’t driven it much in the past couple years since subframes were taken off and entire underbody was cleaned up of any and all surface rust and/or oxidation, treated, coated and subframes reattached. No through rust found any where which was awesome. Car literally has less surface rust than it did when it left the dealer.
Just been reducing weight, replacing heavier OEM components for lightweight counterparts where it makes sense and as time and money allow!! Car will always stay looking like a proper Evo in and out not striped and gutted, not into drag racing, will do a couple track days in the future, lighter cars are way more fun to drive!!

I had one that lasted about 20k miles at roughly 500whp/400wftlbs. I loved that clutch and it still had a lot of life left when I built my bottom end......until I made a touch over 500wftlbs. That killed it quickly lol.
But without that, when I put the clutch back in after 20k miles, it still had about 50% of its life left.
