isn't it the same as not turning on the mac valve from the ecu? i mean it dont get energized if ecu is telling it too not make boost if it makes any sense.
we assume that to be true, but you need to first eliminate the possibility of it being the MAC valve. I’m trying to help you isolate the problem if you will follow my steps. We can quickly determine the issue if we simply proceed based on the process of elimination.
tried 2.1 and it held boost just fine... so I'm rolling with that..
since fp turbos are not big turbo they don't need max boost method so this is the best method too do plumbing in my opinion for fp turbos external or internal wG.

i went with this method 2.1 (single port method) and the boost was held fine with control attached and energized... didn't shoot up boost so im going with this plumbing... i figured since fp are not big turbos it dont need max boost method i.e 2.3.....also fp them selves recommended i dont use 2.2 method as their turbos dont make much back pressure.
