dual injector set-up and wiring harness

dual injector set-up and wiring harness

Out of curiosity, is anyone running dual injectors? if so, did you have to wire your own wiring for the extra injectors, or does anyone know if any company sells a plug-and-play harness for the extra injectors?

I'm currently in the process to run a dual injector set-up but not sure if anyone sells a plug and play kit for the extra injectors for a Halltech elite 2500. I'm running the stock wiring harness at the moment. That's all I have left to start the vehicle and I have searched but I have not been lucky enough to find anything.

i do not know of any plug and play kits.

Definitely no plug and play "kits". You may be able to hit up one of the harness builders like OHM Racing and get a complete harness built, or a sub harness you can pin into the haltech.

From right to left the second branch is all 8 injectors on my Ohm Racing built engine harness

easiest solution is to make a new harness for the injectors to the ecu.
new injector harness will have switched 12v and the 4 injector signals at the ecu (only 5 wires, 5-8 injector outputs on Haltech ecu and switched 12v from harness). The 12v power will T out to each injector in the harness.

if you can’t build or find one you like feel free to pm me I’d be happy to build one for you if you take the measurements you want for total length.

the other alternative would be to go with a fresh engine harness that includes 8 injectors. If you get a complete harness you may also want to utilize 4 coil outputs for direct fire vs the stock 2/wasted spark. (2 birds one stone)

I actually order some wires and pins from OHM Racing to make my own harness from scratch. That's all I got left to start the car.

Nice one and good call, you'll be able to make the staged injector harness/install it super easy!
PS are you running a single fuel or a dual fuel system? (one tank of methanol for the secondary injectors perhaps?)

Im running the radium engineering complete fuel system with dual 450 in tank pumps. Both pump rewired to full 12 volts using a relay for one pump and a boost switch for the second pump. Unfortunately after switching to the dual injectors I had to switch the fuel rail and what sucks is that the radium engineering fuel pressure regulator did not thread into the jmf 10an fuel rail. The radium fpr is 8an and the jmf is 10an and radium does not sell the fitting to make it work. Since I did not wanted to spend more money to change the whole set up, I welded the fitting onto the rail and worked great.
