Does anyone run these yet?

I ordered a set from Tony Palo @ T1 in Texas. He said there has been some issues in the past with pigtail harnesses not having a very good contact with the OEM wire harness connections.

My package hasn't arrived yet so I haven't had a chance to look at them hands on... so I just wanted to check with you guys/girls to see if anyones running them with or without issues.

I actually just noticed that on Tony's site, there's a caveat about the pigtail connections not being included currently...

 

Anyone have input? I'd really like to not have to send these back... but I may have to as I don't want to cut up my OEM harness...

 

Plug and Play adaptors are ready to go again. We finally found a manufacturer who has them right.

 

Deutschwerks should have theirs out shortly. I'm going with those.

 

News on the P&P adaptors?

 

The new PnP adaptors we have work on everything with a Denso connector that we've tested to date.... except the EVO X. lol They don't lock properly on the factory connector for some reason. They do make a good connection, unlike the first adaptors we had, but they do not stay locked together so it's a moot point.

I do not advertise them as available for the EVO X for this reason. However, they do work fine when zip tied together with the factory connector, eliminating relying on the small locking tab to keep them engaged. It's not the way I like to do things, but I have not been able to find another source for connectors that work so it's an option for those who want PnP regardless of the details.
