Hello, I have problem with my JDM Evo9 GSR rear AYC diff and I want to buy another used diff. Can I get one from Evo7 or 8 or they are completly different?

 

Should be the same I would imagine

 

8 and 9 are the same, earlier ones have different internal design. While they can also work, better stick to 8 or 9 ayc diff as it can transfer more torque between the axles..

If you are looking for an Evo VIII AYC Diff I have one from my JDM Evo VIII.

Has 112k kms on it, original not been replaced came with the car in 2003.

Runs and works no issues or hiccups, just replacing it with non ayc/non acd due to pushing 650+whp.
