Question Evo 8 weird whine after about 40 kph

Not sure if its in the right category but as the title says my evo started whining when driving over 40 kph after a clutch replacement. It just happened kinda overnight. One day no whine or any weird sounds and the next this.
Before you say its death whine all oil levels are correct and even changed both the gearbox and tcase oil with OEM oil. Tcase oil was clean (clean as no metal shavings or pieces, just normal amount on the magnet due to normal wear) Never launched by me, no trackdays or racing. Just normal driving so far

There is one thing that makes me think it NOT the tcase, but one of the wheel bearings since the noise kinda dissapears when I steer to the right and becomes louder when I steer to the left.
Do you think its the bearing or tcase.

I remember I torqued it with the value I found in the manual but I couldn't get the pin to fit in so I think I might have overtorqued it just to get the pin in. (I know it's kinda stupid if I did that)

Well yes but it's a bit unnecessary to "destroy" something that works fine haha. I guess everyone ****s up once or twice sometime in their life

No idea if you did either of these, but just a P.S.A. for anyone doing work that requires pulling the axles. There are a couple of gotcha's (Service Points).

I didn't do it with the special tool but otherwise yes, I did it without putting any load on the bearing as it says.

I wanted to say that it was the right front wheel bearing that was the problem. Changed it and the whine is gone.
