I've never tuned injectors that big, but IPW looks low for cold starting.

Probably time to get a tuner involved. Are the cams new to the setup?

EDIT: I mean it looks low for E85, not sure if that's what you are using now though?

My advice would be to increase startup fueling by 10%-20% increments until it lights up. That won't be final values, as previous attempts have been dumping in fuel. So you will probably have to repeat the process ( after cooling down) a few times to get good firing. Once it is warmed up you can work on warm starting pretty much right away. You shouldn't mess with the throttle either, air (ISCV Initial position) is also part of the startup tune. It might need more air, but that wont come out if the throttle is moving.

This is really stuff your tuner should be working on with you.

I just noticed in the logs that while cranking the voltage drops down to 7 volts that doesn't seem right at all.

If the battery is old (>5 years) or you have reason to think its weak (repeated deep cycles) or both, just replace it. Nothing worse then being stranded by a bad battery. Also make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight.

From your log it looks like volts are back in operating range by the time the computer tries to fire the engine. Certainly worth looking into, but I would expect a properly tuned/working motor to start.

New battery and switching back to 93 octane has done nothing. I'm absolutely lost with this car now.

Well let me shine some light on this gem of a thread:

That's pretty much as good as it gets for help with startup tuning.

well thanks everybody. It ended up being 3 clogged injectors. Put new injectors in the car and she started right up.

Oh, that is good news & thanks for updating the issue. I was so curious as what the issue was. Clogged injectors! Wonder if it was that black tar substance which has been reported & seen by many of us using E85?

I did see some of that black tar-ish substance was wondering why ethanol converts to that

Haha yeah, no amount of tuning is going to fix clogged injectors.

glad you figured it out Now hopefully you can have some fun with it.

Heres an engineers opinion on the tar. Its due to the lack of PIB in E85 as there is only 15% gas which has most of this cleaning agent. I believe this opinion to be true as you have heard we need to run some high octane gas through the system at some level of frequency
