I know.. another oil leak thread..

I know I know and I’ve been searching..

I got a big oil leak when I get into boost so that’s why I can’t find it on my own. It sprays enough to where everything under the car is soaked after just a couple pulls.

I have just Pulled the timing belt off again for the 3rd time. I do know the oil is coming from behind the timing cover.

as of now I have sealed the bolt that goes where the balance shaft delete is with thread sealer. I thought that would fix it so I put it all back together and it didn’t help anything.

the next time I took it down even further and took the crank pulley and the balance shaft gear off and that was dry as can be so I don’t think it’s the crank seal.

I replaced the seal behind the oil pump gear (and gear as I broke it trying to get it off) and the o ring under the castle bolt as the o ring was flat and really hard. So I figured that would solve my issues. Got it all put back together and same thing.

I have just recently learned there is another bolt that needs to be sealed. Motor mount bolt behind the tension pulley, makes sense because the lever thing for the tensionor is soaked in oil.

anyways aside from this last bolt I need to seal up is there anything else I should be doing while I have it all opened up as I really don’t wanna go through this again.

thanks in advance
