Anyone with P0401 CHECK ENGINE LIGHT?
Anyone with P0401 CHECK ENGINE LIGHT?
I got this P0401 check engine light and it is representing EGR - insufficient flow. I checked everything and it seems fine. I cleared the code with a scanner many times but it just keeps coming back.
Any knows the cause of this or have encounter the same thing?

I believe it could be a VSV (vaccum switching valve) that is stuck partially closed you need a scanner and a vaccum pump with a gauge to check tis valve that is controlling your EGR operation.
Or just take it to the dealership to have it diagnose under warantty ( make sure your stock if you plan to visit)

I FIXED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Remember I said all connections seems fine??? Well THEY ARE NOT!!!!!!!!
You have to put your hands behind and under the EGR valve to feel it. So you can't see if there is a disconnection of one of the hose.
Just remember there are two hoses that connects to the EGR valve, and one of mine was off. I got a feeling it will come off again so I suggest you guys with the same problem as me to put a zip tie on there.
Hope this helps some of you guys!! Let me know if it worked too!!
