Question Dejon Tool Upper Intercooler Pipe

Just wondering if anyone has this or has an opinion on it? I know there aren't much gains, if any at all on the upper intercooling pipes. I just want it to relocate my HKS BOV and for looks. I noticed its 2 3/4 inches where most other companies pipes are only 2.5 inches. Any advice or info would be appreciated. Thanks

I've used some of their pipes in my '93 Talon AWD and thought the stuff was pretty well made for what your paying.

A user here named "Novtec1" has the upper pipe with greddy type s flange. Seems to be well made and he is always telling me I should buy one...which I might, who knows

PM him and he might have some info for ya.

its a well made piece. i ran dejon ic pipe on my talon and never had a problem with it. and you really can't beat the price, plus you can choose the color you want and the bov flange. and they have super fast shipping. karash will be getting one soon

Yup...when it comes down to it, a pipe is a pipe. Paying an extra $100 for a name engraved on it just doesnt do it for me.

I already have a greddy type-s bov w/flange.

If i order the dejon tool upper intercooler pipe, will it come with an extra flange?

you can order one with the greddy type s bov flange on it... if they don't have it you can use the 1g flange and drill 2 holes.

Heres a pic of mine when it was on my car before I sold it.

My car made 366whp on pump gas with the stock turbo so I guess it a good piece.

can you list what mods you had done to achieve 366whp? I'm very curious to know.

Thanks!

Hooptie,

What was that pipe made of? I thought all of Dejon's pipes were made of mild steel...

Zeus you are correct. I'm pretty sure it was steel cuz it was pretty freaking heavy. Too bad steel doesn't do well with heat even tho it never got that hot because of the upgraded I/C I was running.

Thanks for the posts guys, but I was asking this a long time ago. I've since went a different route. (AMS piping) My friend actually bought the Dejon tool piping and didn't like it at all. I actually thought it was kinda ghetto. Didn't like the way it fit at all. To each is their own though. If you have it and love it, that's cool.
