Hi guys,

Yesterday (or maybe earlier today) I noticed that when i'm coming out of first gear from a stop, my car shakes, shudders and does not want to seem to catch really bad. I have this problem sometimes downshifting, as it shutters a little bit. The clutch does not feel as if it is slipping, I know how this feels very vividly .

Any ideas? It's a Clutchmasters Stage3. Great clutch setup, just this recent problem is getting annoying.

I want to get some ideas before I call Turbotrix up and have em take a look.

Forgot to add, this happens in reverse as well.

 

Is this a new clutch....?
Did you use a break in procedure, if yes, what?
Have you laid down some rapid starts with your new clutch?

 

I've been using this clutch since early November, followed an "extended" break-in period (800 babied miles, not the recommended 650). Launched the car a few times, never burnt it before or smelled any clutch. It grabs nice, and it shifts great through every gear, it's just 1st and reverse that are giving me troubles now.

 

I have the same problem too. i noticed this for a quiet a while already. and my clutch is stock. but i notice it happens more when the car is cold. Any info can help.
