Hey guys,

Sorry, we've been extremely busy the past couple weeks as we're currently moving our facilities to a bigger and better building.

First off, I'd like to congratulate Terry (Incognito) on the great runs! We actually delivered the car to him the morning of the race! So we're thoroughly impressed that he could get in the car and still bang the gears well without any practice runs.

This is our latest creation that everyone has been asking about for quite some time. Terry has a slightly upgraded version of it. The standard kit contents are:

Ultimate Racing Upgrade GT Turbo Kit

- Custom Spec Garrett GT Twin Ball-Bearing Turbocharger
- HKS 40mm External Wastegate
- Ultimate Racing Heavy Gauge Tubular Steel Manifold
- Ultimate Racing 3" Stainless Steel o2 Downpipe Housing
- Ultimate Racing 2.5" Stainless Steel Lower Intercooler Pipe
- Ultimate Racing Stainless Steel Intake Pipe (mates to stock MAF sensor)
- Ultimate Racing Stainless Steel Wastegate Dump Pipe
- All Lines, Fittings, Hoses, Clamps, etc.

Terry's car was upgraded with the HKS GT Wastegate as he just wanted the absolute best. However, the HKS 40mm wastegate would've done just fine!

He also opted for HPC Hypercoat Extreme coating of the turbo manifold, turbine housing, and wastegate base to help keep underhood temperatures down. This is really incredible coating that I recommend to everyone! Sad thing is, the coating only comes Blue and Black if I'm not mistaken. Terry's got the right idea though "Function before fashion".

The Ultimate Racing Blow-Through Meter is our latest available upgrade. It's a hot-wire type meter that can be installed on the "pressure side" of the turbocharger. The beauty of it is that it eliminates the restrictive Karmen Vortex meter from the turbocharger's intake. This allows us to run a completely unrestricted 4" air intake! The difference between this blow-through meter and the competition, is that ours uses a Hitachi element that withstands oil and contaminants better than the GM delphi meter. Unlike the GM meter, ours is calibrated specifically for the Evo VIII and can support large amounts of horsepower. Another bonus is that the Evo can now be equipped with ANY blow-off valve that vents to atmosphere.

Our website is currently being updated I speak. More information is to follow.

Feel free to PM, email, or call me at the shop if you'd like more information.

Thanks!

Darryl

Can I also assume that the wiring harness "Extension/Adapter" for the MAF is included and plugs into the stock MAF harness? (Ya think you can PM me with pricing for just the MAF Upgrade kit?)

Ditto on BOTH questions. This sounds like a very interesting option.

Hi Guys,

The Blow-Through Meter is not 100% plug and play, unfortunately. If anyone can find me a suitable connector please let me know!

The new harness for the Blow-Through Meter needs to be tapped or soldered into the old harness. No wires need to be cut though.

Thanks!

Darryl

Yes, what do you mean by "calibrated for the Evo VIII"? ...and to what degree?

I would defintely like to get my hands on one of those blow through meters.
Would you have to change the setting on your AFC to hot-wire if you are running one of these?

By that, I mean the new meter is flowed to provide the same readings a stock MAF would just without the restriction. This is to ensure no loss of drivability!

No AFC settings need to be changed. The Karmen Vortex Converter Box will convert all voltage readings from the Blow-Through Meter to the correct frequency output that both the AFC and ECU will understand.

We are currently working on different options to offer the product. More than likely, these will be the options:

- Factory upper intercooler pipe replacement with integrated Blow-Through Meter

- Complete Intercooler pipe kit (same as our standard Intercooler Piping Kit) with integrated Blow-Through Meter

- Air Intakes (with no MAF provisions) for stock turbo, or our GT turbo

Thanks,

Darryl
