I have the Hallman MBC, with a ball/spring. Does this have to be mounted in the car in a certain direction?

well, the directions say that the barb coming out the side of it needs to be pointed down. How much of an effect it actually has I dunno but better safe than sorry I would think.

 

I think it does. There is an arrow on the MBC and the air should be coming out of it. Try blowing into the MBC on both sides. When you blow on it one way air comes out the other side but blow it the other way and it won't.

I think there is a site that ells you that it should be installed a certain way as well.

well the way a manual boost controller works if you intall it backwards you are going to overboost and fast.
