Dyno Results - New Quantum Racing Dyno

Today I had the pleasure of having my Evo be the first car dynoed with the brand new Dynapack dyno at Quantum Racing, a silver vendor on this board. I am very pleased with the numbers: Stock Turbo, 94 octane pump gas, 20 psi boost -- 343 hp, 320 ft/lb torque. Mark and Bryon at Quantum have done all the work and all the setup and tuning on my Evo. Quantum now has the first and only all wheel drive dyno in Ohio. They are located in Marysville, close to Columbus in the center of the state. They are now scheduling dyno time, give them a call at 937-642-5400. I'm attaching the dyno sheet as well as my mod list. Unfortunately, I'm outflowing the stock turbo and losing boost and torque in the upper range. Looks like a larger turbo is in order.
My Mods:
AEM Standalone ECU w/UEGO wideband
GReddy Profec Spec ll electronic boost controller/type R BOV/Boost and EGT gauges

Espelir JGT500R 3"Catback

It will be great when we can take some time to go through and work it out in detail.

sorry to bring back the endless dynodebate, but the dynapack reads lower than an awd dynojet, correct?

Maybe 10 hp difference between the two, if conditions are identical on the same car.

I'd like to hear some info on the new head. Is it a completely new head, or did you let them rework your head? Some details, please

It is the original head cause I have the same head as bluemaster and I am very happy with it. Quantum did the install also.

Gotcha. Just a port/polish, more or less? I'm looking at having my head done in the future. Tommy (ferrarokid) was saying how our heads have a lot of power and smoothness to be had in reworking the head.

Port and polish, ferrea springs and titanium retainers. I kept the stock valves, but you can go for oversized valves and a more aggresive porting job as well. Quantum uses BJ's for all it's custom engine work. They are very well known for their quality and hp gains. I'm very happy with my headwork. Quantum uses customer heads as cores, not new ones. I'm sure they could get you a new one, but it would be expensive.
