WOW your asking for a fight! Well it all depends on how you look at things and what you want. The ATP kit is Dual Ball Bearing and is some what of a twin scroll setup. The turbos that ATP use are also water and oil cooled. The Buschur kit is not ball bearing and is only oil cooled. I installed my ATP kit this weekened and i love it. Of course i need to get the AEM tuned to get the full potential out of it. But so far so good. Everything fits great and generally a easy install. I would go with the ATP no doubt about it. Tech support is AWSOME!!!! Now that i said that i will be waiting to hear from Dave about oh the duall ball bearing isnt worth the extra money and yadda yadda. Oh ya i also like how ATP cast a exhaust housing with the Wastegate built into it. AWSOME Design!

hah yea, i want to see spool difference etc. but i think the buschur kit is too new because not many ppl have it and those that due are not putting out the numbers that were expected...

does the atp unit bolt up perfectly to stock only or can it bolt up to a buschur downpipe and lower intercooler pipe? that is my problem cause i have those already so if anyone knows that would be greatly appreciated

The kit comes with a downpipe and lower intercooler pipe to go with the turbo. So your buschur stuff would not be needed anymore. As far as spoolup Az3er is seeing full boost at 3500-3800 rpms i believe with the GT3071 turbo. I just installed my GT35/40R and first time i took it out i seen full boost at 4500rpms. But as the turbo breaks in that will lower. Also im running the Intake adapter until i can get the AEM tuned so going from a 4" inlet to a 2.75"-3" inlet is a big restriction also. After the car gets tuned from talking to ATP and HPfreaks which is who is going to tune it they are expecting 4000-4300 for full boost with my mods. Guess we will see.

Just finished installing my 3071 kit, install was pretty straight forward if you have some tech and mechanical experience. One thing is pretty clear and that is that it’s a tight fit, it’s not much room left over when you have the stock turbo in there and all that was left is now used I had a slight oil leak from the oil return where it enters the oil tray so we ended up using the stock return pipe after cutting it where the flexible part starts and that solved that problem.

My car is not tuned yet and I’m using an EVO6 map in my Motec so I’m very careful when driving the car now but it seam to start to spool good around 3000-3200 and I expect to see full boost around 3500 and that should get lower once the turbo starts to free up a bit.

Car will be tuned on the 11th and then we’ll really see how it performs

I had to do the same thing with my oil return line , the gasket they supply sucks and it is close to impossible to turn a wrench in there with that fitting. I am spooling at around 3400 full boost is now at 3700-3800 rpm depending on gear.
