I will tell this, I went to a range colder Denso from z1auto and I did datalogging on the timing advance and with the range colder denso timing was not pulling as much at WOT 21psi @ around 6-7Krpm @ around 12-14 degrees vs 7-9 with the stock NGK. If you also look at a chart of the properties of iridium vs copper, there is no comparison....from MachV web http://www.machv.com/denirsparplu.html

you can also purchase them from z1auto for cheaper

I have been dynoflashed with my mods below...would changing spark plugs have any effect on the reflash? If so, what plugs whould I go with?

Copper NGKs are much cheaper and work as well as any other plug. But they will wear out faster. So what? For under $2 a piece, they are a bargain.

My 8 month old spark plugs started missing the last time I drag raced, so I swapped them out with a set of plugs I had in my car in 5 to 10 minutes and got back in the lanes.

I could buy 8 sets of copper NGKs for the price of one set of Denso Iridium plugs. Are iridium plugs going to last me 4 years?

A spark plug will either fire or it won't. Fact is that NGK coppers do fire under extreme conditions in our engines. How is a different plug going to change that?

Want to know about the DynoFlash question also.

Regarding what plugs to get, many recommend the Denso IW24(one range colder than stock.) It should be perfect with the power you are making. It cost about $12 each. I just ordered mine a few minutes ago from sparkplugs.com.

Hell with the data, I'm entitled to my opinion. From my experience the car ran better with the NGk's Coppers and both were gapped the same.

of course you are...everyone is....i wasnt saying anything bad of your opinion. Just to be sure, I got a new datalogger that can store all the parameters that I choose. I plan on doing some datalogging during the hot summer months to see the difference. I might actually go purpose the NGK ones and do some datalogging under the same conditions. Believe me, if anything is better for my car than what i have on it....i am all over it (especially if it is cheaper).

didnt mean to **** off anyone

EvoJimbo, my personal feelings were the same way. Look at it this way if you by the Denso's it won't cost you must more to compair them yourself and see what you think.

SuperChargedGTZ, the data logging compairson would be cool for sure! Post them up when you get them.

sorry....anyways, I havent heard any restrictions on no changing plugs before 10K. If you are shooting for 300whp go a range colder.
