Post NGK Iridium Plugs

I just installed some NGK Iridium plugs, I must say you can notice a difference. The car runs smoother at idle and when going up on the revs. I highly recomend these to anyone that wants a easy way to make the car run smoother and a little better. I got them for 5.98 each, but I have seen them for upwards of $15 each. This is something you really want to shop around for to get the best price. Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket plug wires? If so where, who makes them, and how much?

Thanks for the post. I was wondering about those plugs. Where did you get them? Seems like you got a great deal.

There are Magnecore spark plug wires, those are the only ones I've heard of for the lancer. I don't know where to get them though. I think they are around 100 bucks?

yeah. magnecore does make em for the lancer and for around 100, but you only get 2 wires because 2 of our plugs run directly off of the coils.. seems a bit drastic payin 100 for 2 wires... I think RMR or RRM needs to make some wires up or something!

I went to a place in town and they called magnacore, they said they cant get anything. Im not exactly sure what the serial number is on the plugs, Ill get the box out later and look. I got them at O'Reilly's Autoparts. Im not sure if they have those everywhere but its just a autoparts chain.

One other possibility would be to buy them with someone else. 50$ each and you get 2 wires each.

Only my .02 though

I'm kinda interested in the difference between the iridium, and the IX iridium plugs too

I just looked on the site and clicked on the more info icon, and there isn't much difference in the descriptions

I have the NGK Iridium IX plugs and you really can tell the difference. In gas mileage, idle and performance. I was surprised at what a difference just a set of plugs made. The Magnecor KV85 plug wires are next. Once I get these in I should be able to notice a lil more of a difference bein that I'm gettin a better spark.

Yeah, I understand that the iridium plugs do make a big difference, more than just plugs should be able to. but does anyone know the difference between the iridium, and the iridium IX?

Oh, also, I have long been a fan of magnacore wires, but did you notice that on the NGK site they have wires too. in fact the way they describe them they sound a whole lot like the same thing as magnacore. except they are only like 35 bucks
