EVO VIII vs SL600

BTW SL500's are even faster and much lighter, particularly '89-92 ones.

In my real life next year I'm gonna spend no more than 25k for a decent '95-96 SL600 with less than 60k miles one owner garaged blah-blah-blah...
I've been there...It's one of the most complicated and overengineered cars ever built, but once get soft-top hydrolics, wiring and conditioner evaporator sorted out it runs great. Those days there were less electronic crap, much easier to fix. older V12 is _very_ reliable mechanically and with almost 400 honest naturally aspirated horses and more than 400 pouns of torque it moves baby.
Not a sports car by any means, just a #1 open top cruiser

its a weak car, sell it and get a benz
Yaroslav,
based on all the posts I've seen on your car, you would benefit by some tuning. 12 psi is not normal for an Evo. It should peak at 19 psi and then taper down to 16. The Evo is not a weak car, but your tuning is seriously off. Find a tuner with an AWD, that'll help...
