It sounds like your fan is working, but once (on a different car), I did some radiator work and forgot to re-hook the AC fan wires. Was driving home the next day (hot, of course) and no cold air at all. I freaked out. "What the hell did I do to screw up the AC?"

Reconnected the fan and all was well.

However, it looks like you probably have a coolant leak from all the descriptions. Probably debris hitting a line or something.

Any NAPA, Autozone, dealer, or mechanic should be able to pressure test it for you.

good luck,
a

thanks. i did replace the fan the other day w/ the Spal unit that ships w/ the Buscher 580 kit, but it is hooked up and working just fine. BUT.... now that i think of it, both of the fans are supposed to be blowing in towards the motor, right? never thought about it before, but just making sure. as of now, both the fans are blowing inwards to the motor.
thanks again,
jeremy

ok, i just talked w/ jarrod @ buscher (awesome guy), and he says that the fan should be blowing outwards from the motor. i know i've got the leads hooked up blue to blue and black to black, but i'll try em' the other way and hope for the best....
