Need advise, my radiator is leaking!
nsnguyen,
The Koyo radiator looks allright... not that I could tell a good one from a bad one. It's pretty light weight and it's a perfect fit for the OEM. It's made in Indonesia.
The radiator seems to be doing it's job... holding the temp steady just a bit lower than the middle of the temp gauge.

The temp gauge is basically an idiot light. It has three positions, cold, warm, and hot. The reason for this is that drivers tend to get scared when seeing a fluctuating temperature gauge so the car manufacturers design them so that they look like a needle but work more like a warning light. The gauge will be in the middle until the car gets hot then it shoots up. It is probably ok, but just FYI. My suggestion to you is to get the stock radiator repaired so that you have a backup in case the Koyo doesn't work out. It cost me $80 to repair two holes and they did pressure checks and everything. I suppose the advantage of living in motorcity is that there are lots of quality places to do this kind of work.
Did you install the radiator yourself?
