Unorthodox Intercooler Piping
What a pain in the A$$!
The piping looks very nice, but I'm not sure it was worth the greif. The snaps in the bumber don't seem to hold right, so have new ones on order(this is not a kit issue). Had to cut corners out of battery box. The hose connector for the throttle body had to be heated and stretched to get it on ( a tapered fitting would have been nice). I may need to replace the 45 on the passenger side of the inter cooler, because it doesn't seem to mate properly. The plastic philips body clips are sub-standard... and the list goes on. Sorry to vent, but this kit was much more of a pain in the a$$ than I had anticipated. The quality of the finish is very good, The fit is fair, but combine these with your typical cheap plastic fittings that come on every new car now days and be prepared for about 5hrs of aggravation. Since my clutch started slipping the day I did this, I can't say if there is a performance gain or not. Exedy twin disk being installed next week while I'm on vacation.
In Short, make sure you have plenty of time before you attempt this. Use a little oil on the hose fittings. And get some extra phillips body clips and extra fender clips so you don't have issues putting things back together

Never use oil on the hoses!! It may help installation, but it will also aid in it poping off at high boost. Oil will also break down rubber and swell it at times. I never had any issues with the UR intercooler pipes.
For tight rubber fittings the best thing to use is believe it or not Hair Spray! Spray a bunch on to wet down the inside of the rubber coupling and when wet it alows it to slide on. After it dries it acts like spray glue
