I use 272 intake and 264 exhaust with cam gears. This created crazy mid-range and with gears created crazy top end. I use AEM EMS so no idle issues.

I just installed 264's with stock cam gears. No drivability problems what so ever. There is a slight lope, but doesnt want to die. I have a 3" tb, xflash. Car pulls very strong on 91 octane. Dont know anyone or have driven an evo with the 264I/272E cams.

264/272 will give insane topend with out the ruff idle. plus if you have a stock turbo or just want to run average boost there a good choice.

Thumbs up

will for sure depend on your mod stages. 264's for stock turbo, 264/272 for heavily modded stock turbo, 272's for bigger turbos (ie: HKS gt2835), & then THE BIG BOY 280's for monsters like garrett gt35's, gt40's, HKS t51's, greddy T67/T88's, etc...
