Hello everyone im new here to, but I was wondering if you could possibly help me out on this one. Sometimes when i upshift from 2nd to 3rd it kinda grinds real fast before it slides in. Is anyuone else having any similiar problems?? Thanks guys!
I still love my EVO though...

 

I get a bit of a grind every now and again to second. have not had a problem to third. I think i remember seeing a thread a while back that there may have been some others experiencing your problem... Try a search that may help some

 

changing the tranny oil may help... another thing u can do is to replace the shift link bushings from soft rubber to polyurethane or metal

If you are still stock you are covered under your warranty. I had that kind of trouble with my 3G Eclipse. Just demonstrate the problem to the service tech then tell your service writer to take care of you. Transmissions are not supposed to grind when up shifting.
