Unhappy Help! Clutch Problem

I was driving home last night, and on an upshift from 3rd I accidentally put it in 2nd. I disengaged the clutch as soon as I felt it. But, when I pushed the clutch to go to 4th, the pedal was solid. I pulled over and I could not get the pedal loose. I had to get it flatbeded at 2AM. What's wrong. Please help!

Yeah, the clutch won't dis-engage. the pedal is solid . . . won't move at all. If I apply enough pressure it'll move, but feels like just an increse in line pressure, not any type of clutch movement.
