91 octane - 420 whp

Put my car on a 4 wheel dyno today for the first time. We've done some street tuning but no dyno tuning. The car has a 2.3l stroker engine, an HKS3240 turbo and a bunch of other mods. The results are:

91 octane
89.7 F
418.37 Max WHP
396.11 Max Torque

We are going to finish tuning next week and create a map for 104 octane. I thought that these numbers were very impressive considering the octane and that we just started tuning the Autronic (conservative street only tune). I'll post dyno charts when the tuning is done.

Being in California, it's nice to see somebody do some runs on 91 octane. Those are some great numbers!

420awhp at only 18psi of boost? Dayam!! That's some serious power right there. Any videos or dynocharts?

thats a good torque number with 91 octane and low boost, can't wait to see when you crank it up and put some good gas in!

Kleemann USA in Colorado Springs has done all of the work. They are a Mercedes tuner and offered to build this car during their spare time (It's taken 6 months). Talented group of guys. As soon as the car is totally tuned I will post dyno charts. I'll have a map for 91 octane and 104 octane. It is difficult to find any gas better than 104 so that will be my most aggressive map. I'm running cats so C16 or any leaded fuel is not an option. I was pleasantly surprised with the results off our first dyno pull since we had only done street tuning. The car has very little lag and pulls down low better than stock. I'm excited to see what it will do when done and on better gas.

mate you have a very nice set up there. be nice to see you that turbo a bit harder thoguh. on your 2.3 you should be able to get it up to about 1.7bar ish before it starts to get restrictive, then it time for a larger rear housing, or just get a 35R LOL. you should see around 500+wbhp on 93octane (moses got a similar amount on road fuel over here), with similar torque. get it on race fuel and roll on 600bhp and 550lbs ft. hehe.

thought of using water injection to help with det? alot of people use it over here and it seams to work very well! i quote a guy off here saying "its like running race fuel all the time"!

thanks Chris.

Very nice results. To bad you won't be running any C-16. That is where the real fun begins. We made 420whp,425ft lbs on 21psi w/s-afc2.

So similar numbers. Big motors and turbos are so much fun.
