you don't have to pay $225 for the mini battery kit. just relocate the battery to the trunk. i have the br pipe kit. i then bought a battery relocation kit from summit racing for $45 and it works like a charm. jason

 

OK, but now you're left with a battery configuration is illegal in most sporting events, e.g. auto-x , etc. because it isn't sealed completely.

To me, thats worth EVEN MORE than $225.

 

Those pipes look pretty good in the pic. I'd like to see a pic of how it looks installed first before throwing money down on something like that. The price also seems too good to be true for all that mandrel bent polished aluminum piping.

 

i'm not a member of any organization, nor do i compete in any sporting events. so i'm not sure what the rules are but by putting the battery in the trunk i would think it would be sealed better than stock. because with the relocation kit that you buy, it is designed to totally seal the battery. it is made specifically for race cars.

guys at www.proturbokits.com are about to offer an upper and lower kit for about $200 total.

edit: with the option to delete the battery or go around it. will also be doing a battery tray for a little extra I think.

 

Oops. The local guys have gotten involved. These big money companies are in for it now that someone is going to offer these kits for what they are really worth!

i bought these pipes, i guess il be the guinie pig, il let you know how they fit.

p.s. ive seen many ic pipes in my day, and these look as good as any.... you cant get any better than robotic tig welds.

 

yeah the welds on my Helix dp are robotic tigs and they are beautiful.

 

Yeah, proturbokits is doing a full intake piping system with choice of using stock battery or mini-batt. The full system is powdercoated also...very trick looking.

They are also looking for a donor car to do a complete turbo kit including BIG front mount intercooler, full tubular header, DP, external wasegate, Tial BOV...etc. And the pricing is great considering its installed for you.... Not true. I have the Buschur IC/Pipes/Mini-Battery with the stock airbox and it fits fine.
