Well I guess you are the engineer Joey. Just because it is smooth doesn't at all mean it will flow better. If you screw the pulses up badly it will create terrible turbulance to my understanding. Also the length, width and many other factors are engineered to provide a certain airflow within. I have never heard of a weld falling off regardless of what type of weld it is but its nice to know that you think it happens alot. Maybe you didn't read what I wrote before, it may work great by why risk it? A lifetime warranty is implied on what? And who is to say they will honor it down the road or will they say it was from improper installation or overheated, etc, etc... I am not trying to completely trash the product, I have never seen it in person nor on a dyno so who knows. That is my point... who knows.

The same would go for an intake manifold. I am sure I could get a local welder to make me an intake manifold that is blinger than bling itself. Does it mean it will help anything.. no. Will it hurt anything... probably. Will he give me a lifetime warranty on it? Probably. Because who really cares. So he makes another part for $30 if it ever breaks. The reason good well known parts cost alot is because of the time and research done before manufacturing them. It also is more expensive because of the labor required to make them. Any pipe bender and welder CAN make one... is it worth it? Who knows. I really hope all these parts work well for you guys. It would be great if some cheap parts work out well. I am just trying to let people know not to just go out and buy them up and assume they will be perfect.

Joey?

Ok well tell me then why would they port heads out and smooth them out if it didnt flow better and get more power. I will not disagree with what your saying about tube thickness and proper flow. I never said that it happens alot, merely that I have read people talking about this. The EVO is a modable car and people will risk many things so that is a silly thing to ask. I never said the warranty will be honored but who says your factory warranty will be honored so they are one of the same. Everyone takes chances and thats why getting this manifold is a chance.

I personally like desiging my own parts so I take disrespect in your statement. You need to respect those that try even though Mitsu has lots of R&D into the stock car people will always try to make it better. Obviously everyone knows their not perfect although most people have their big opinions and have never actually tried the product, and this is why I stepped in.

Good deal You get pretty defensive. I like to buy parts that i know will perform to what I expect. I hate guessing and even more I hate buying a part that sucks and worse yet... hate getting the part that sucks on the car and two months later finding out how crappy it really is. Im glad you dont mind being more experimental. I like the tried and true way of things.

So are you really a babe? lol

Well when I get that good career then I will buy the real nice parts. My real plans anyways are to put this manifold and port the living crap out of the stock manifold and then get that coated and probably put that back on. I think that will work out the best in the long run, but if the gains fo the manifold are realy impressive then for sure I will keep that on. I am just too lazy to remove the radiator and turbo from my car to install the manidolf and O2 housing...soon enough though.

Im not too lazy to do all that.. Im still waiting for it all. Ive ordered and canceled three turbos in the last 4 months. All of them I waited for at least a month after being told they would ship within a week. Finally I found a place that supposedly will ship it out today. I also am still waiting for my manifold, 02 and intake. I will post up pics of my manifold and crap when it arrives.

Looks like a nice product. I knew I have seen the name before. Do you have any gains (dyno) with his product alone? When I mean mproduct I am asking about the manifold.

The Tarmac black EVO is very nice...its too bad when a girl has more mods than me....j/k

I would say your name is not a lie...you have a very lucky boyfriend indeed. Although I dont think i have room for two black EVO's in my garage. Nothing sick implied.

trinababe (u hot)....

tats what i learned from TECH school
u dont wanna port the manifold in this area where manifold connects to cylinder head . if its too smooth in this area , exhaust gas will suck right back into cylinder chamber instead of pushing out...
i forgot most of it, i could be wrong.
