Ebay Exhaust Manifold
so... how's beating cheap manis these days? and is 25mm really that good? i always imagined the headers to be made of something that is like... 5 mm thick... even tho that makes for very heavy header... doesn't rnr make something like a .5cm thick header?

I've had the SSAutochrome manifold on my car for almost nine months now and have not had any problems with it. The surprising thing is when I received the mani, it HAD a crack in it. My installer simply welded the crack and I've been driving around with it since. I do check it every now and then to make sure it is not leaking and knock on wood it isn't. However, I might just buy another one and coat it since they're so damn cheap.
...I quit trying to intensionally kill mine. I've resigned myself to the fact that the Evo version will last as long as you what it to, if it is still bolted to the block via O2 housing. I don't know about those running without that support.

Back on topic...
With all the failures seen with the SSAutoChrome Honda parts in the past, I can see how people would be quite hesitant to purchase anything of their's... but I've yet to see any failures reported from the Evo manifold (any, none, zilch). Of course I've also not seen any real gains posted from it other than my seat of the pants impression either.
Knock on wood, I have had mine for more than 6 months carrying my heavy 3071 turbo with no support and it still did not crack. I drove my car from DC to GA under heavy *** rain and it did not crack. I have seen it glow so red like night stick and it did not crack
. I vote for it.

Just e-mail them and they will tell you about the warranty. I e-mailed them before I bought mine and they said lifetime warranty and I pay shipping both ways. Either way cheaper than a different manifold.
