I was at Super Autobacs today and had a some money burning a hole in my pocket so i picked up the Hyper Voltage System. The Install took about five minutes, all you have to do is add a wire to each battery terminal and find a place to mount the box. Now for the important part. The car idles much smoother with the box installed and there is a noticable increase in off boost power and the car feels smoother and more powerfull from 5000 rpm to redline especially in 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear. I definitely recomend this product, it not only feels more powerfull but the car is more drivable with the extra low end grunt.

it was $188. to me it is well worth the extra drivability.

Why are you having drivability problems with your Evo? Did you have a problem before?

I assume this works by regulating the voltage so you always get a constant 12volts or does it work like a grounding kit?

I didnt have drivability issues, it just made it better. it feels like the car has more off boost power which makes for less shifting.
