So does anyone know what type of turbo is suppost to be in the Mitsubishi Evolutions? I know there is the Garrett T-25 in the 2G Eclipse with the 4G63 engine, the 1G Eclipses have the the 14B and also us the 4G63 in it. The upgrade in my Eclipse is the 16G and it puts out about 250-260 HP now, and i've heard that the Evolution puts down somewhere near 250 - 280 I know it uses a very similar exhaust manifold and O2 sensor housing.

 

They are Mitsubishi-made turbos:

Evo TME GSR - TD05HRA-15GK2-10.5T

Evo 6, TME RS - TD05HRA-16G6-10.5T
Evo 7 - TD05HRA-16G6-9.8T

And the standard Evo puts out 280bhp, but the turbo is good for about 380..
