Do I Need Larger Fuel Injectors Now Or Are They A Waste????

I have recently cured all the boost leak demons in my Evo, mostly with a UR Hard pipe kit and now a Properly fitting intake by HKS. I have all boltons, TB exhaust, fuel pump, and most importantly 272's.

Would an upgrade to Denso 660's benefit me in tuning and whp? I like using pump gas mostly, but I wana run 21PSI and have a perfectly smooth powerband or even more power. I think with the adition of the pipes is what I am concernned about, the car leaned out bad and now with the HKS intake it is even worse, but I am not sure I can add enough fuel with the stock injectors. I am wondering what your opinions are on a slight upgrade in injectors will do for me, thanks....

With your current mods, I don't think you need injectors yet. You have a fuel pump (what size is it? can it support bigger injectors?), try getting a regulator and increasing the fuel. There should be room on the standard injectors.

Adding injectors is a big mod, usually coupled with ECU and someone that can tune the car. I don't think you need to change injectors unless you are changing the turbo and boosting up and over the 1.3bar level. When you start to mess with the fuel ratios, things get complicated.

Another important question is what fuel (or engine) management are you running? I'm sure you already know this, but just changing injectors with a stock ECU can really mess things up.

On the stock injectors with a walbro 255 I'm running an intake, 3" turbo back, Piper Rally cams and raised boost. For engine management I run an XEDE to control fuel, boost and ignition timing.

If you're running an intake, cams and exhaust you should probably be running a reflash or piggy-back that has been tuned to your set-up.

I have cams and an intake, IC piping and so on, and yeah I originally had a dyno flash, but now I have a lot more air running through, those IC Pipes were KING, lemy tell you, plus they don't expand or blow off, so now The HKS intake is hurting my car the mpost now, it needs to be reflashed. So I am wondering if I should upgrade to bigger injectors or maybe a better FPR?

AM I RUNNING out of fuel with this mods..

HKS RS Intake
DIY Grounding kit
Greddy Type S BOV
UR Hard piping kit
Hallman MBC
TT Dyno flash
BR Turbo back exhaust no cat
Walboro 255 LPH Fuel pump
HKS 272 cams.

Would 660's eb a good idea now?

yes ,change your injector to 660cc will add more HP,and more safe for your engine, but u need to have a AFC or computer flash ,because when u change a large injector ,your own computer don't know u change it,so your idle will rough and stall ,because is running too rich,so u need to think when you change a large injector u need to spend some money for your computer too.
