Manual Boost Controller Install Help!

I have my MBC hooked up straight to the wastegate actuator & the turbo outlet.

IMO this is the best way to do it, it's worked on my MR2.

I have the one vacuum line that was tee'ed that USED to go from the boost solenoid to the wastegate actuator & turbo outlet PLUGGED.

But I still have the intake vacuum hose connected to my AEM Short Ram Intake. Is this wrong? Should I plug the intake side hose also? Or should I remove the boost solenoid completely?

When I rev it in neutral, it seems to build 5psi or so in neutral!

Well everything is connected properly, it holds 20psi to redline no problem.

But the problem now is...

I can sit in neutral, rev, and build 10psi of boost.

In neutral.

thats a bit strange, it shouldn't go past 0. sounds like your boost gauge may be hooked up in the wrong place. How did you connect it?

Actually the boost gauge isn't the problem since it worked fine prior to the MBC install. It would never go past zero.

So, *shrug*.
