Give it to me ;-)
Seriously, Vishnu Xede or TXS UTEC plus turboback or catback. Both those systems will grow with you and turn your car into a little monster. I think suspension is a good call too, but its so good already that it's almost just cosmetic. How about summer wheels for some nice wide gummy R compounds

$2000 will get you a full turboback exhaust, hks cams, mbc, and a mail-in DynoFlash. Those mods should keep you smiling for a LONG time and realize some of the evo's potential.

It all depends on your taste. Meaning, are you into the performance part or the "bling bling" part?

$2000= get a cheap daily driver and save the EVO for weekends and holidays...really, you will appreciate the EVO a lot more if it's a TOY ONLY!

Spend it on a drivers course to learn how to use your evo.

I say spend it on go fast parts. I made the mistake of dumping mad cash into my WRX's suspension and exotic rims when that money could have been better spent on building the bottom end of the engine.

In it's stock form, the Evo is such a phenominal handling car that suspension and chassis mods can wait.

This is the track that I am taking anyway. I bought my full 02 housing back exhaust (Helix o2 housing, midpipe, and cat-delete pipe, and a TXS ti tipped RFL catback) and a 255 lph walbro fuel pump as my first round of mods. I already have a SBC-id so that was covered. Next is Buschur valve springs and ti retainers, and Tomei Procams w/ ARP head studs...followed by a Dynoflash TTM rerflash. That will complete my stage one.

You could always take the infrastructure route, and buy a set of pimped out guages and a TB exhaust for your first round of mods. That is always a good place to start, seeing how expensive good guages are these days. I wish that I hadn't given my DEFIs away.

Good luck modding!

if you are planning on upgrading the turbo in the future, like i did, i chose vishnu. staged upgrades, great tuning and reliability, quality parts, super tech support, etc...

with that much cash, you could get into a stage 0+ i ran 12.8's with this package.

just my .02
