T78 too big?

Just wondering if a ball bearing T78 would be too big for a stroked 2.3L Evo. What rpm would boost start to build with that big of a turbo on our cars? 3,500 and reach full boost at around 4,200? Think with the AMS stroker kit one would be able to make over 450whp on pump gas or so? Just bored and thinking of new turbo options.

A T78 is a mitsubishi turbo correct and I don't think it comes with a ball-bearing center, correct?

It's possible, but using the correct size turbo for a 2.3L would be a much better idea. If your goal is running 9's, well then maybe. But I would call David Buschur and get a BR580 with the ballbearing option. It will be less than any comparable setup, it's indestructable and it will run 9's if you can drive.
