BR Stage 4 w/EMS times update..
Hi guys,
As always there is a ton of things happening around here. As always it leaves little or not time for us to work on our own shop car. The good side of it is we have customers out there running and the guys we are helping are just flying.
Something I want to get out there in the "news" department.
At the DSM/EVO Shootout we just held we had our shop car Stage 4 record shattered by Curt Brown. Luckily he is one of our good customers.
The car has our complete Stage 4 kit on it along with the AEM EMS, the car also has our sheetmetal intake on it. The runs were done on race gas. I had some time on Saturday to go out with Curt in the car and do some fine tuning with him. The car felt very fast, I didn't realize just how fast. This car is still running the STOCK CLUTCH, which is simply amazing. A ton of credit to Curt as this guy can freaking drive!
Here are some of the times he ran at the shootout:
11.65 @119.90 1.75 60'
11.71 @119.26 1.64 60'
12.48 @120.04 2.01 60'
11.80 @118.45 1.79 60'
11.83 @119.49 1.76 60'
12.14 @120.76 2.10 60'
and the best of
11.59 @119.59 1.68 60'
To say the least I am impressed with both Curt's driving and the performance of our parts on his car. I couldn't be prouder if we had broke our own record.
Thanks,
David Buschur

Thanks
This is no surprise to me.. I've also recently made some good runs on mostly buschur components, and I'm still running a stock clutch with almost 25k miles on it.
Buschur's stuff downright kicks butt!

How are you guys getting around the ob2 inspections....if you have that in your state/ county with the AEM EMS? Or at least I'm assuming that the ob2 diagnostics port would no longer work.

In PA if you drive less than 5000 miles a year you are exempt, I may put 3000 a year on the EVO at the most. Someone asked about the cams, they are 264/272's.
