wicked manifold, but how the hell can it support the weight of the turbo and exhaust without breaking?

Shouldn`t the turbo be flipped 180 degree,it sits in the wrong direction according to normal position.

ok i have a question...and by no means am a arguing anything...just wondering.

why such long tubes in the header...just curious...for example...the DNP manifold has similar tubes...just not nearly as long...and other headers are set up differently (example would be the RRM header.

basically my main question is why do some headers have such longer tubes than others and what is the advantage

Is it just me or is that wastegate going to be on the wrong side too? Actually if their doing some sort of frankenstein intake/intercooler/exhaust then I guess it wouldn't matter..

Long runners on a manifold usually equate for more torque.
I beleive this is due to greater volume/displacement of exhaust spinning the turbine.

This manifold was made to the specs of Norris designs. so your questions would have to be directs towards them. The manifold is made of Thick wall 321 stainless so it isnt going anwhere. Not to mention they are going to run a header support bracket as well. just wanted to show off our fabricators work.

Im a bit sceptical not using a common collector for the runners before entering the turbo, and also the w/g only goes to runners 3,4.

But who knows maybe you have a divider inside.

I think the craftsmanship is top notch.. nice welds and quality.. just was puzzled by the location of the wastegate (from a curiosity standpoint)

there will be no issues with the wastege being mounted on those two runners. its is a common collecter if you look closely. all 4 converge about an inch before the flange.when you pull the wasteage off you can see clear accross all four runners so dont worry guys we know what we are doing.

So Whats the price for it and what flange does it have T3?

If you get issues with the w/g look at this solution (pic) 2 runners to the w/g.

problems with that are as follows:

1. clearance is a much bigger issue on an EVO 8 then a rwd import outlaw car. runner length wastege placement. none of the design characterstics of the piece above can transer over to an EVO 8 header
2. it looks as if one of the runners is acting as the collecter. Poor design if that is the case. you want an equal amout of length/air flow on all runners
