Thanks for the psi/BAR converter...as for the MBC, why get one if there is a problem running the right psi right now. I am gonna try the recirculating valve and boost solenoid replacement first. Then, I may have to go the MBC route...

Yeah I need to get a new BOV too I think. It seems that the boost "sweet spot" on my car right now is 1.35bar with a small amount of taper.

Because stock boost peaks at 19 and drops off sharply. Even with a new solenoid, this will happen. Why bother.

With a MBC, you set it at say 20 and it holds rock solid in the upper gears till redline. This alone will add upwards of 30 WHP over stock at WOT.

I adjust mine up in the hot weather. Now that the weather is a little cooler, I had to adjust it again down to not spike over 20. And as it gets ever colder, more adjustment down. Colder air = more boost.
