Life of Act vs. Cusco....

All things being equal, how much longer would the Cusco twin-plate clutch last vs. the Act heavy-duty streetdisk clutch?

I'm liking the Cusco one, but I would also like to get other parts with the money saved by getting the ACT. I would get the ACT clutch if its durability was close to the twin-plates.

first off all things being equal the twin disk will always last longer, and be more durable and stronger than a single disk ACT clutch. Also for the act clutch at that strength level u will probably need a gorilla leg to move the clutch pedal, where as the twin disk will require only a very slight amount of effort over stock. The twin disk will also react faster and hold far mor power in the end. Sure the ACT is cheaper but u get whut your paying for.

Act is GREAT, they have gone 9's, ask Turbo Trix, they use it.

The pressure plate is stronger and holds the power well, shifts are harder but you simply adjust to it within a week or so. Also obviously the Cusco full carbon is a noice piece, but costs more then 3 times the act, is better? More then likely but not 3 times better.

Act is fine, i am putting one in this week.

ACT 2600s on my Eclipse last around 2 years, with well over a hundred drag passes on each disc.

I have 108k on my car, and I'm on my 3rd one.

I considered the HKS one, but I just heard more good things about the cusco one. So for myself it coming down to the tradeoff's of getting either the Act or Cusco clutch.
