True, recall work and warranty work should have nothing to do with each other.

Damn, picked up my car last July, so it probably affects me.

cant bring mine in since my fan and fan controller has been modifed to fit my new BR 440 kit. oh well.

I just got it on Wednesday... Stupid dealers. Guess I'll take it in tomorrow along with all the other crap I have to do (5th gear crap + the sticker recall)

edit: I bought the car May 2003, sorry bout that.

Module replacement diy

Old thread, but question, if I order and replace module myself, does the pcm need to be flashed or is it a plug and play?
