I set off alarms all the time every block that i go down i set off at least 2 or 3 alarms and all i have is an HKS hi power cat back.

 

I set off alarms in the garage even when I'm stock.

 

D, mine would set them off in garages (HKS Carbon Ti, HKS DP). Both of which indicated they were JASMA compliant, which is much stricter than US standards.

Now that I have the Perrin TP, exhaust is much louder, especially on WOT. All kinds of chirps, beeps, and sirens, heh.

I set them off all the time (Buschur Tb w/ testpipe). I think the best speed for me is about 25mph in 2nd gear. It's fun going down narrow chicago streets and leaving a trail of flashing lights and horns honking.

 

I once set off a car just after the owner had just locked it. After I drove by I checked my rearview and I saw him giving the trademark old person "shaking their fist angrily at young punk kids" deal. Laughed out loud to myself for a good 5 minutes after that. Good stuff.

 

My neighbors hate me. I set their alarms off all of the time (BR TB w/test and JDM muffler). It is begining to become a real problem. I think I should swith to the Magnaflow. Or maybe I 'll just slow it down to 80MPH while on my block. lol
