Race Car Security systems/ alarms!

Hey All!

Just wondering what you all do about alarms etc on your race cars.

I know its a sensitive topic so feel free to pm replies or be vague to protect yourselves.

Just looking at changing up the security system on my race car. the features in a regular alarm dont particularly appeal to me so just wondering if theres any specific alarms people use these days etc.

For example i dont really see a point triple immobilisers on a race car that isnt parked down at the mall while u watch a movie. i can however see a definate advantage in having gps tracking and tilt sensors etc.

basically keen to hear others experiences on what they have done with alarming their race car. id also like to start removing some of the excess loom etc in the car and the alarm adds a ****load of clutter under the dash which makes fault finding a pain.

Wether to cut out my road 5 star alarm system and go with something a little more suitable or to upgrade to some newer road technology with all the bells and whistles eg wireless sirens or wether to just ditch all together etc.

As i said sensitive topic so feel free to pm replies or comment below.

Creative wiring tricks and removable jumper plugs? Low buck, low risk/high reliability, and low tech but would be incredibly difficult to get around unless you knew what was going on or had plenty of time to troubleshoot the car...

Won't stop somebody from towing it off but it will stop somebody from jumping in and taking off.

When my car is on the trailer, its chained to the trailer which is attached to the truck, which is "disabled", good luck. Otherwise its in a secure garage..

this doesnt stop somebody dragging or towing it away though? happens more often than not here that the cars are just towed or dragged away to a safe spot to be tampered with and then driven
