I'm wiring the control unit and I have the center console apart, but which wiring goes where? If you could just tell me what color goes to what color that would be awesome. I tried evomoto's install, but it seems no longer available. Someone please help I would like to put my car back together.

 

BUMP! anyone? It should be the same for all the control units and I know theres tons of guys out there. Please someone help out.

 

Do you have an aftermarket radio installed? If you do, you can get away with an easy install. I connected my controller to the aftermarket radio harness. The constant power, switch power, and dimmer connections were labeled well. I'm not sure how the other guys have them hooked up.

 

Cool I'll check it out. You know what colors? I know the illumination wasn't connected.

nm I figured it out. I spliced into the yellow wire on the aftermarket harness. Constant power to keep records and memory for the defi control unit if anyone needs to know.

 

what did you splice the white wire to

 

White is ilumination right? I think I use the green wire with the white stripe going to the cig lighter. Then I used the brown wire for AC power and used the radio harness for constant power. The ground to a suitable spot.

 

-thats what i used for illumination. i grounded to black wire off the cig lighter, and red wire off the cig for switched power. for constant power i tapped into the red w/ black strip off the ecu harness. only problem i have is that the gauge light doesn't dim. did you experience the same?

 

yea I did... Its wierd because the cig lighter dims too. Is there a different wire that dims? I did exactly what you did but my constant power I used the radio harness.
