How much are people paying for the 05 EVO RS?

I've got one on the way at msrp less $1000. Due in 2-3 weeks.

 

I know it's not excactly the question you asked, but I bought an '04 RS a few weeks ago for $26,100, which was $300 over invoice and a $1,300 discount from MSRP. If you can get an '05 anywhere close to that deal, I'd go for it.

 

05 rs came to $27600 plus tax title and registration. Total $29768 out the door.

he probably included the dest. in his 26100, 26800 msrp is minus the destination charge

 

MSRP for my '04 RS was $27,379 (or within a few bucks of that number, and yes, it does include dest. charge). I paid $28,501 out the door in Calif., with 8.25% sales tax and CA license. So I saved about $1,270 over out the door price of '05 above. I think I would have paid that for the ACD, 5 hp bump and aluminum roof. But I'm very happy with the '04 as it is.
