ok i own a 350z, about to trade in for evo 8 in december, but i can tell you experience with evo 8 from a 350z owner pt of view
straight line, i raced an evo 8 from a roll 3 times, i beat it two times outta three but not much, just like half a car length each time, and granted i don't know how good the evo driver was, and i don't know how good i am at driving, and this happened on the street, so it wasn't track conditions.....but thats how it went
but from a dig, i know that the evo can take the 350z , at least from what i've seen on paper, not real life

You won by that much because you did a roll. RSX-S could beat a stock EVo with some tuning on a roll.
AWD must be raced from stop. period.
sll those are beatable with great driver with the biggest challenge coming from the C6 and Ferrari( they will actually prob win but by so little(maybe 1/2 car that it will **** them off) it doesnt matter. off course the STI as well, but u should stay even with it , but u better pull it for us other Evo guys.

I drove a second hand C5 once, I don't know if the car was in a bad condition but compared with my EVO the C5 is a LOT slower. Compared with my 95 LT1 the EVO is faster even in a straight line. Next my house there is a 400m street where I can compare the speed in the end of it, with the C5 140Km/h with my Z28 160Km/h with a Volvo T5 150Km/h with my EVO 170Km/h. I would like to test drive a M5/350Z/Ferrari 355.
I think that the EVO needs a race driver/experienced driver to run fast, I mean in the low 13s stock form.

c5 vette could do 13's easy. c6 vettes do 12.7. c5 zo6 does mid 12's. Depends on driver.
Acura TL has a lot of power but its still FWD, can't really put that power to use, also it's very heavy.
M3 is slightly faster than evo, M5 is a lot faster than M3 and it could do a good low 13's in the right hands.
911 is slow, boxster S still runs like mustang GT in straight line and Ferrari is not even in the same class as those cars.
R32, 60R (300hp) and 500 is 14 second car and 600 may have 12 cylinder engine but it's way too heavy. I think they have 600 Supercharged that runs 13's?

^^^ whoooa, dont let those clubrsx guy's hear that. They'll be a bunch of threads saying "i beat an evo from a roll with a tuned hondata"
Ive seen a type-s with I/E/honda data vs. evo with a catback exhaust, lets just say the type-s saw the CF spoiler.
