Picking Gauges

If you had your choice of 3 gauges what would you get?

My choices so far.

1. Boost

2. EGT

3. ???

Which do you think are more important?

A/F(narrowband) guages are mostly junk unless you buy a real wideband O2 setup. Zeitronix makes an excellent one(LCD display) or if you want a guage style setup AEM offers the Uego but it doesnt offer as wide a range as the Zeitronix.

Yup. So you could go the cheaper route and get an oil pressure gauge, or go with the wideband O2 gauge. I dunno how long that would last on the street, though. I am guessing it could foul out over time, but I may be wrong.

A A/F gauge is useless unless you have the ability to tune your ECU. That gauge will only tell you what your air/fuel is and you won't be able to do anything to change it on the stock setup. Pretty much a useless item.

Now, Oil Pressure on the other hand is quite usefull as it will let you know if you develop a leak or similar low pressure condition that can ruin your engine.
